HOW TO FIND YOUR EYEBROW SHAPE

Seeing different trends about other individual’s eyebrows can leave you with a feeling of confusion within your own brows. Looking at others’ different shapes can leave you wondering about your own, unique one. That is why finding the right eyebrow shape for your face can enhance your features and create a balanced look. Take a journey to find your own, defined shape with a step-by-step guide to further help you with your brows.

Identify Your Face Shape

Everyone’s face shape has unique features that define who they are. Knowing these face shapes is the first step before even finding your eyebrow shape. Common face shapes include: round, oval, heart, square, diamond and long. Depending on your face shape, choose the eyebrow shape that suits your face the best.

Understand Brow Measurements

Your eyebrows have specific points that can help guide their shape. Firstly, the starting point is where the brow begins, and it's usually aligned with the bridge of your nose. In addition, the arch is the highest point of your eyebrow, usually around two-thirds of the way out from the starting point. Furthermore, the ending point is where the brow should taper off and align with a diagonal line drawn from the edge of your nose to the outer corner of your eye.

To start the action of mapping your brows, hold a thin makeup brush or pencil vertically against the side of your nose. That is the point where it aligns with your brow is the starting point. Then, hold the brush diagonally from the edge of your nose, passing through the center of your eye. This is where the highest point, where it crosses your brow is where your arch should be.

Lastly, extend the brush from the edge of your nose to the outer corner of your eye. This is the ending point, where it crosses your brow.

Examine the Thickness of Your Eyebrows

Remember that the thickness of your eyebrows depends on your personal preference.  Moreover, a balanced look involves a thicker start that tapers gradually towards the arch and thins out towards the end.

But keep in mind, working with the natural direction of your eyebrow hairs can further enhance your shape with balancing the thickness. For example, if you have unruly hairs, you might need to use a Eyebrow Tweezer to maintain the overall shape.

Some good makeup products to use are: Precise Eyebrow Pencil, Eyebrow Powder,Sculpted Eyebrow Gel, and stencils can help you enhance and define your shape. It is important to remember that your eyebrows frame your face and can significantly impact your overall appearance. That is why experimenting with different shapes and styles can help you further enhance your natural, beautiful eyebrows.
