Gone are the days when we searched everywhere for the perfect flashy going-out top; welcome to the days of a plain white tee and a black micro skirt as your outfit. Everyone is searching for the perfect going-out skirt now, so keep your eye out.
IN: Indie Sleaze
Messy makeup, smudged eyeliner, animal print, fur coats, chunky silver jewelry. Think hipster aesthetic and the partying until the morning vibe. The indie sleaze look is messy and nostalgic.
IN: Checking your skincare ingredients
Learn about what your skin needs and what it needs to avoid. Just because it’s popular doesn't mean it’s good for you.
OUT: Micro Trends
I don't mean to say that trends are bad, it's just that they change too quickly. It's hard to keep up with them. For instance, last year the 'clean girl' look was in fashion, but now the 'I slept in my makeup' look is trending. Trends seem to come and go very quickly, so it's best to just do what you want.
OUT: Fast Fashion
This category follows trends, but fast fashion is out; thrifting, renting, and investing in pieces is in. Building capsule wardrobes will be in this year, just wait and see. It’s more sustainable for us and our planet.
Doing what you want and being yourself is the most important ‘in’ this year and we love to see it.
