FROM FALL TO WINTER FASHION

During the fall season it feels as though you switched out your wardrobe entirely after putting your summer clothes away until next year. Fortunately for the winter season all you need is a slight upgrade in your closet while keeping all of the fall essence in your sense of style. As the weather gets colder, you’re in more need of thinker layers so here are some tips to upgrade from fall to winter fashion.

Layers + Layers + Layers

It’s no secret that in the winter it can get pretty chilly depending on what part of the world you live in and when that’s the case your fleece sweaters and cardigans aren’t going to be enough to keep you warm. But there is no need to get rid of them, think of cardigans as your second layer of warmth while a third thicker layer is added on top such as a jacket or vest.

Third Layer: Jacket or vest

A Changer For The Winter

After adding a third layer for warmth it’s easy for your sense of style to get lost underneath. In that case you should consider switching up your color palette a bit or at the very least swapping out summer prints for more fall/winter looks. One way to do this is to move from bright summer colors to more neutral tones and swapping out the floral prints for more knitted sweater patterns or flannel checkers.

It’s All About Accessories

As mentioned above it’s easy to have your sense of style lost underneath all of the layers of warmth, so this can be considered your second layer of fashion. First patterns then accessories.
